Why can’t I switch camera direction on iPod touch?
i don’t see the camera icon on screen.. It just takes selfie

Have you tried to reboot it?
so if you have iOS9 you have a 5th or 6th gen touch, both of which have front and back cameras as far as I can recall.
I have the camera flip(front or back) on mine but my ipod is a 7th gen so it may be a bit different from yours since I have iOS15 on mine.
Is this in the camera app or a third party app?
THat’ll do it. I considered suggesting that but your info said IOS 9 which the older devices can’t run so I assumed you had a newer one.
