How to make the menu bar in MacOS Ventura show/hide on certain apps only

I like to have menubar hidden on Desktop, but I like it to be shown in full screen apps, as all my apps are full screen by default, but there's only one situation when I found menubar distracting and that's when I'm watching a movie in a player in full screen, so then I have to go to the settings and hide it and then after I finish watching movie I go again and unhide it again, and so on. Is there a way around to make the menubar hidden only on Desktop and on a certain apps when in full screen?
