I like this, but why isn't the same extra layer of protection for hidden photos provided for iCloud. Once I'm into iCloud, I can access hidden photos just by clicking on "Show Hidden Photos." I would like to be able to create a password, just for hidden photos. Just in case my photos are inadvertently open on my computer, another person would not be able to access hidden photos. Thanks!

The Hidden album is automatically password protected, but this is a very minimal level of security - for instance the images can be accessed in the Finder. If you want to secure material then create an encrypted disk and put a library with this material on it.
