homekit how to start camera recording

If a burglar is breaking in and I want all 5 of my cameras to start recording, how do I set this up? Can I setup a button on the Home app to start/stop recording? thank you.

Homekit Record while at Home and at Sleep (ARM Trigger) Every professional security system has an "ARM" and "DISARM" function. When using Homekit with video cams, you can set "Stream" while at home, and "Stream & Record" while away, but there seems to be missing the ability to "ARM" or "Record" while at home. (ie. While you sleep) The only way to achieve recording (while at home) currently, is to either: Switch to "Stream and Record" while at home ALWAYS on each individual cam (which will wear out batteries quickly) or Remove people from from being at home (which triggers a lot of other stuff in homekit) As most cams have the ability to choose between ie. Home, Away, Disarmed, Geofencing, Scheduled and Night, it seems strange that Homekit recording can only be set for "Home" or "Away" and there's is not trigger available to switch at will. HomeKit Secure Video Configuration for Night I like to configure my HomeKit secure video cameras in that way that during night the cameras are streaming and recording. But I also have configured that the cameras are off when I’m at home. How is it possible to be at home at night and have the cameras streaming and recording during night? Homekit Eufy cams not recording Hi! From 2023 approximately my Eufy cameras seems like are not working correctly about notifications and recordings. Everything are set as before but actually only have a previews when Im not there. Im reading a lot of users having the same issue, people reinstalled, erased and added again but seems there is not a solution for now. So I don’t know. Maybe anyone can send us help? Thank you :)
