Unable to use keyboard on MacOS desktop after resetting

after I reset my IMac 2017 I am having trouble reinstalling the OS. My keyboard and mouse are not connecting

Use a USB Keyboard and Mouse

The Kernel Extensions for Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse may not load since there is not operating System installed
