airpods not charging at all

i want to know if anyone else is having a similar problem, or even the same thing, and how they solved it. so, i recently got my AirPods and they worked perfectly fine on the first few days, then when i got home one day they just suddenly stopped charging. i kept trying different chargers or outlets until the case finally started charging, but it only charges up to 2%, the actual AirPods only charge up to 10%. please help idk what to do and my AirPods don’t even last 5 minutes out of the case, and the case dies within minutes as-well.

Hi meganelise66,

The first thing we'd recommend is to clean both AirPods and the AirPods case with a soft clean cloth. Similar to what you'd use on a pair of glasses.

Also, shine a light down into the bottom of the AirPods case. The little metal pieces at the bottom are how the AirPods charge. Make sure they don't look like they're broken, missing or have something stuck in/under it.

After that, gently put the AirPods back in the case and see if that resolves the issue. If it does not, the next step is to reset them. You can see the steps to reset your AirPods here:

Should the issue still persist, it's likely hardware related and we'd recommend contacting Apple Support.
