Series 8 Watch Not Vibrating For One App

I have the Westpac banking (Australia) app on my 14 Pro Max. I get notifications from the app on both my phone and watch but the watch doesn't vibrate with the incoming notification.

All other apps like Gmail, Messages, Messenger etc vibrate on the watch. I've checked every setting that I can think of both on the phone and watch and even did a reset and clean install of the watch but the issue remains.

I'd appreciate any suggestions for a fix.

Again, that would be a question for the App Developer. It's not an Apple App, nor evidently, one which offers a watch specific application. Mail apps are completely different and you can mirror your iPhone for mail and messages. For this app, you don't seem to have the ability to mirror your iPhone on your watch. And that is not something Apple has control over as the app in question is not owned by Apple.

Thanks but I’ve checked and rechecked the notification settings what feels like a hundred times and I’m as certain as I can be that that is not where the issue is.

I have tried local forums but am still unable to confirm if any other user of the Westpac app is getting vibration with notifications on the watch.

If I could confirm that it would give me an indication if the problem is across the board or only with my device.

It’s a frustrating problem because apart from this issue the watch is superb.

I'm still not convinced of that. The app doesn't have a companion app on the watch and nor does it need to have as far as I know because other apps that don't have companion apps on the watch are notifying and vibrating fine.

So.....the app is notifying fine on the phone and the watch is supposed to be replicating the phone's notifications which it is doing, but the notifications are not being accompanied by vibration on the watch.

It doesn't appear in the first list where apps like Activity, App Store etc are listed. Note that Gmail doesn't appear in that list either.

Gmail, my problematic Westpac app, Messenger etc appear in the list below that has the heading "Mirror iPhone alerts from:"

Gmail and other apps that only appear in that second list and are not listed in the list above and have no config options, but only have the toggle beside them to turn them on or off, are vibrating on the watch.

I don't understand why those apps are vibrating but my Westpac app doesn't, given that none of the apps in that second list have config options.
