Hi there jarcardan,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you're not receiving your two-factor authentication code at your telephone. We're happy to help. It's a great article that you referenced with Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support

From that article, you can see, add, or change your trusted phone numbers:

  • On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings > your name > Password & Security. Next to Trusted Phone Number, tap Edit.
  • Choose Apple menu  > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click your name (or Apple ID). Click Password & Security, then add or remove a trusted phone number.
  • Go to the Account Security section of appleid.apple.com.

We recommend you check the Apple ID website out to make sure it is up-to-date with your devices using the steps above: Apple ID

If you continue to have issue, contact Apple Support: Contact Apple Support

Take care.
