Old emails
Please can you help I cannot retrieve old emails I have not deleted them and tried the search. This has just happened in the past couple of days. Help is needed as I require a confirmation email very soon.

We'd like to help by learning more about what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:
- You mentioned this began two days ago, but do you recall the last thing you were doing on your iPhone right before it started?
- If you go to the email provider website instead of using the Mail app on our iPad, are you seeing the older emails on there?
- Has this only affected older emails from one account specifically, or have you noticed this occurring with all older emails from several email accounts on your iPad?
- Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPad
- If you have a compatible iPad model, the latest version is iPadOS 16.3.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
