Netflix doesn’t work in portrait mode

I have just bought an iPad 2021 and when using Netflix this allows me to watch only in landscape mode. Can’t watch anything in portrait mode.. Is this the same for all iPads?

Yes, it is the same for all iPads. You will also find other streaming apps the behave the same.

how to lock landscape view on iPhone using Apple TV+ app no matter what I do I can't lock on landscape mode on Apple TV+. There is no way to watch a show on Apple TV+ while laying on my right side holding the phone vertically. Interestingly only works when I watch on landscape mode and then carefully laying down on my left while rotation lock is off. Am I missing something?

How do I view movies in landscape mode on my new iPhone 12 Pro Max? This used to be the default on the phone when in the t app. Then a few weeks ago the functionality just went away and all I can dO is watch in skinny little portrait mode. This is only applicable to movies from the store saved under tv. I can go.portrait when using Prime Video or Disney Plus. Please help [Edited by Moderator]
