Netflix doesn’t work in portrait mode

I have just bought an iPad 2021 and when using Netflix this allows me to watch only in landscape mode. Can’t watch anything in portrait mode.. Is this the same for all iPads?

how to lock landscape view on iPhone using Apple TV+ app no matter what I do I can't lock on landscape mode on Apple TV+. There is no way to watch a show on Apple TV+ while laying on my right side holding the phone vertically. Interestingly only works when I watch on landscape mode and then carefully laying down on my left while rotation lock is off. Am I missing something?

No full screen with nfl app on my iPad I recently added the nfl+ app to my iPad. When I go to watch a game in the full screen mode I only get 3/4 screen and 1/4 white screen. Last year I was able to watch full screen with out any problems.

Yes, it is the same for all iPads. You will also find other streaming apps the behave the same.
