Hey applewag,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We see you're needing assistance regarding a 4-digit passcode. If this is the passcode for Screen Time, you can remove it by following the steps below or in this article: Set, change, or remove a Screen Time passcode on Mac .

1. On your Mac, do one of the following:
* If you’re using Family Sharing: Log in to your Mac user account, then make sure you’re signed in with your Apple ID.
* If you aren’t using Family Sharing: Log in to a family member’s Mac user account.
2. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Screen Time  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
3. If you’re using Family Sharing, click the Family Member pop-up menu on the right, then choose a family member.
4. Turn off Use Screen Time Passcode, then enter the four-digit passcode.

If the Screen Time passcode has been forgotten, you may be able to reset it. Follow the steps for a Mac in this article: If you forgot your Screen Time passcode.

If you're experiencing a different issue, providing more details may have get you more answers.

Take care.
