i seen the important battery message on my iphone but when i tapped it it had said that u should see it if your phone is the iphone 11 or later but i have the iphone 12 and im confused on what i should do

An iPhone 11 or "later", would mean an AirPhone 11 or an iPhone 12, or an iPhone 13, or an iPhone 14.

Since you have an iPhone 12, the message applies to your phone.
