Why are blocked texts / calls coming through
Hello! We have blocked numbers on our phones, yet we are still receiving text/calls from them . Can someone help us with why this is occurring and how to fix it ?

The steps below may help with the blocked numbers still being able to call and send messages.
The best place to start is making sure the device is up-to-date. This is because updates includes fixes and we want to ensure we're working with the latest ones. To see if your device is up-to-date, follow the steps below
- "Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
- Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
- Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
- If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
- Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

Afterwards, make sure all carrier settings are up-to-date. For more information about what the updates may include and how to check for them, click here: Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad.
If the issue continues, 3rd-party software and/or a carrier features may be enabled, and interfering. Use to steps below to check.
