Hi there,
I recently moved to using a Sony RX10 Mark IV camera, for some reason in Photos I am able to view the ARW files (Sony's version of RAW) and I can edit them; however they refuse to upload to iCloud. Instead they remain in the Unable to Upload folder.
I am running a M1 Mini, on Ventura 13.2.1 and the latest version of Photos.
If anyone has a solution (that isn't extract to JPG and reupload) I'd be most grateful!

Are other items as well in "Unable to upload"? For example older videos? Sometimes only one item is unable to upload, and blocking furtehr images.
Where is your Photos Library stored? Is it in your Pictures folder or on an external volume? If on an external volume, has the external volume been prepared exactly as described here? Move your Photos library to save space on your Mac - Apple Support
How are you importing the photos? Are you letting Photos copy them into the library or is Photos referencing them in the original location? If the photos have not been copied into the library, you have to consolidate them to be able to sync them to iCloud.

so, nope, no other files are stuck in the unable to upload folder. It’s just a handful of files that I’d just edited.
the photos library is stored on the local HDD on the Mac.
regarding how I import. Just a case of popping in the SD card with the photos and letting photos import them in, so no, shouldn’t be referenced in a different location.
