Block contact

A contact is blocked on iPhone but not on Apple Watch. I went into settings and the setting for messages is mirror iPhone. I’m still getting messages from blocked contact.

I had the same issue. but I figured out how to block contacts on the watch.

when you go to you message app just press on the conversation you want to block then scroll all the way down and press details. That will pull up the contact and when you scroll down you will see block contact.

hope this helps.

Hi meggzcollins,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities for help.

First, we'll verify the steps taken to block this contact:

"

In the Phone app , do any of the following.

  • Tap Favorites, Recents, or Voicemail. Tap the More Info button next to the number or contact you want to block, scroll down, then tap Block this Caller.
  • Tap Contacts, tap the contact you want to block, scroll down, then tap Block this Caller."

Next, restart both iPhone and Apple Watch which can help sync these changes made in contacts.

If the problem persists, Contact Apple for support and service

Cheers.
