Arcade games literally unplayable because of game center

For arcade games that take over your mouse (such as Builder's Journey) the game center popup that appears to tell you "What's new in game center", that literally no one cares about, is unable to be dismissed via any method. Have tried keyboard, mouse, trackpad and controller. This makes the game unplayable as you cannot see it. Tried removing my game center account but it forces you to login when starting the game up.

Hi nicgordon,

Is this pop up showing on every app you launch or in a specific app?

This doesn't sound like expected behavior and we're not able to recreate that in testing.

If you're using an older version of macOS, like 10.13 that's listed on your profile, try going to System Preferences > Internet Accounts and try signing out and back in to Game Center.

With macOS Ventura, this is in System Settings > Game Center.

That could clear an issue with Game Center you're having. Let us know what happens.
