Compass on different iPhones show different results, what's happening?

All of the iPhones I used had the exact same settings for Compass, and Compass calibration was turned on as well. However, when lined up and facing the same direction, the iPhone 8 plus showed 32 NW, the iPhone 7 showed 31 NW , pretty similar. However, the iPhone 14 pro showed 41 NW, and iPhone 13 pro showed 43 NW. How do I fix this or is there something different between the older models and newer models? Thanks for any answers.

Hello Alric3107,

Making sure Compass Calibration is enabled is a great step. We found some information in this article: Use the compass on iPhone - Apple Support

The accuracy of the compass can be affected by magnetic or environmental interference; even the magnets in the iPhone EarPods can cause a deviation. Use the digital compass only for basic navigation assistance. Don’t rely on it to determine precise location, proximity, distance, or direction.

Thanks.
