Alarm volume going down

I kept missing my alarms because I couldn’t hear them, every time I went into settings my volume was at minimum. It’s doing this even with the “change with buttons” setting off.

I even went in, turned it up, left settings, reopened settings, and it had gone down a few notches in that time. I went out and bought an alarm clock because I can’t rely on my phone anymore.

I work in a kitchen and I can’t use my phone alarm anymore because I just can’t hear it when it’s volume keeps lowering and I burned a couple things because of it

Hi MrFosterLee,

For help with alerts and alarms on your iPhone, be sure to check your Attention Aware settings on your iPhone. The steps below found in the article here can assist: Turn Attention Aware features on or off on your iPhone or iPad Pro

"What are Attention Aware features?

Even if you don’t enroll in Face ID, the TrueDepth camera* intelligently activates to support Attention Aware features. With Attention Aware features, iPhone can check whether you’re paying attention to your device and automatically take action. For example,

  • When you’re looking at your device, your display will not dim until you stop looking at your device.
  • If you're looking at your device, it will lower the volume sound of your alerts.

If you don’t want to use these features, open the Settings app, tap Face ID & Passcode, then turn off Attention Aware Features."

You can also find helpful information here: Adjust the volume on iPhone, and check your Focus settings with the article here: Use Focus on your iPhone or iPad
