Apple Airpods Pro 2 are charged to 100% but are drained after 4-5 hours of listening

I bought new airpods Pro 2 and noticed that after full charge they last only about 4-5 hours, both pods and case. Is there something wrong with them and should I get them replaced?

Hey there smdenis,

We understand you've noticed that your AirPods are not lasting as long as you expect. We'd be happy to provide information about this.

Your AirPods battery seems to be expected. Check out the technical specifications for them:

AirPods Pro (2nd generation) Technical Specifications

Battery
AirPods Pro
* Up to 6 hours of listening time with a single charge (up to 5.5 hours with Spatial Audio and Head Tracking enabled)
* Up to 4.5 hours of talk time with a single charge
AirPods Pro with MagSafe Charging Case
* Up to 30 hours of listening time
* Up to 24 hours of talk time
5 minutes in the case provides around 1 hour of listening time or around 1 hour of talk time

Kind regards.

Hey there smdenis,

The 30 hours indicated there means that when you put your AirPods back into the case to charge to 100% then use them again for 4-5 hours, you'll then get 30 hours more. Keep in mind that there is no way to turn off the AirPods or case so to keep them charged up to 100%, they will continue draining the case battery.

Kind regards.
