Siri will not reply to WhatsApp messages

I have a problem with using Siri with WhatsApp. Can send and receive WhatsApps OK, but cannot use Siri to reply to a WhatsApp - I get “Uh Oh, there’s a problem”. Anyone else have this problem?

Siri doesn't read content of new Whatsapp messages I had been using WhatsApp with Siri for a long time without any problems, that worked perfectly. Now I have a new cell phone (iPhone 15) and updates from iOS and WhatsApp (including privacy messages, etc.). When I ask Siri to read new messages, it detects them (“There are x new messages in Y groups”), but the content is not read aloud. Instead, I immediately get “Would you like to reply?” When my phone is upside down on a table, I do get the content read aloud immediately when a message arrives (but not on request): “Someone says: [message content].” Note: everything still works normal for text messages via SMS. Is this a privacy setting that I need to change if I just want to ask for messages to be read aloud again? Any suggestions? Thank in advance!

Unable to send WhatsApp messages using Siri I've been having a few issues with the way Siri and WhatsApp interact over the last few days. When I ask Siri to send a WhatsApp message, I get the reply "It seems that XXX doesn't have WhatsApp messages enabled" where XXX is the name of the contact I want to send the message to. I've tried a soft reset, uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp, and updating everything to the latest version (I installed iOS 17.6 this morning), but I'm still having the same problem. Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.
