I would like to separate the use of my iPad pro from my desktop including backups. Is there a solution similar to Time Machine on Mac I can use to facilitate this?
e.g. the ability to connect ipad to usb HD drive via a powered usb hub using the camera connection kit and run an incremental backup.

File browser professional looks like what it does what I want.
I think I will invest in a NAS device as well.
