Can I use my mac's gpu power under the roof of some of Cloud Render Farm to earn some cash ?

has anyone give it a try ?

iMac and eGPU - what to chose Hello everyone, I'm currently using an iMac with a 3.8 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, an AMD Radeon Pro 5500XT 8GB GPU, and 72GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM. After recently acquiring Topaz Video AI, I've found the software virtually unusable on my setup. Rendering even a short 20-second clip takes an excessive amount of time. Is it worth paying the extra for a 10 core GPU and what difference does it make? I am pretty much settled on a Macbook air as the pro is slightly more than I want to pay and not sure i need it anyway. Most of my time is spent playing around with photos - only basic editing - and games - simple ones, not minecraft or anything like that. My current macbook pro has 256GB storage and as I have 2TB of cloud storage, I am only using half of the 256 on the Mac My only real decision is, should I go for 10 GPU, as opposed to 8 GPU and what would that give me? Best deal at the moment is "Deal Monday" site, at £1009.99, saving about £300 Any advice would be appreciated - thanks

Please help us help you. There are easily 100s of PowerMac variants, and the site you linked is not forthcoming with system requirements.

We cannot give you a very good answer when we don't know which PowerMac sub-model you have and what OS version it is running.
