FaceTime
On my moms phone, when she FaceTimes me or my sister, we can see her but she can’t see us. She has an iPhone 11 (that was previously mine, I never had this issue). What’s going on?

Hey there, Rachael824,
Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.
We understand that your mom isn't able to see you or your sister on FaceTime calls and we'd like to help get this resolved if possible. The best place to start is ensuring that your mom is running the latest version of iOS available for her iPhone 11, which she can do by following the steps here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. Updating is always the best place to start for these types of issues with unexpected behavior.
If the issue continues to occur after updating, then we would also recommend ensuring that her camera is working normally outside of FaceTime for things like taking photos and recording video. It would be a good idea to ensure that both the front-facing and rear-facing cameras are in good working order, just to be safe. This article has more info on how to troubleshoot the camera itself, if the issue happens outside of FaceTime: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch aren't working – Apple Support (UK)
We hope that this information is helpful.
Have a great day!
