All of a sudden, almost every app icon on my iPhone 12 has the hourglass and says reached time limit. None were ever set. Can using a new fast charger USB C 20w be a cause? I’m trying to download the most recent Update but that’s slow.

We'll be happy to help. That would be caused by restrictions or time limits in Screen Time as outlined in Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
It wouldn't be possible to cause this from using a different charger. If you have no use for Screen Time or restrictions, it can be disabled from Settings > Screen Time as mentioned in the previously linked article.

The latest software update seems to have fixed the problem. And I turned off the time limits. Thanks!
