Nearly all apps say “time limit reached” but NO app limits set. WHY.

EDIT: downtime was scheduled on my iPad! I don’t know how, that is definitely not something I scheduled so I have no clue how that was turned on. I woke up this morning and nearly all my apps say I’ve reached the “time limit.” I have ZERO time limits set. I cannot figure out how this happened, or how to fix it. I did not change any settings last night, and double checked everything. I restarted the phone, and made sure it’s fully updated. It’s also happening on my iPad. Again, I have not reached limits because there are none to be reached.

Are you sharing your Apple ID with anyone else or part of a Family Sharing plan?

Turn off Screen Time Sharing and try shutting it off completely:

  • Settings > Screen Time > Share Across Devices, and turn it off.
  • Settings > Screen Time, scroll to the bottom and Turn Off Screen Time.
