Startup disk almost full
Imac 2 disk system running Ventura, start disk almost full so it responds very slowly or not at all. Help please!

Depends on who you ask, you should have 15-20% of your startup drive empty.
I would move a bunch of your files to an external drive to create space before your system crashes and you get into more problems.
You would still be able to access these file from your external drive.
Thank you APPLEAL, I have cleared my caches and logs and that opened up about 16GB of space, but I have a 500GB start drive and there is 446GB of system data which is taking up most of the start drive. My question would be can I safely delete or move some of that system data to open up more space on the start drive?
I appreciate any advice you can give me.

Don't move any system data, just your own Photos/Music/ and/or Documents to an external drive
