Whether the computer was Recently updated to the the most recent version of Ventura 13.2.1 or Recently upGraded from an earlier version of macOs to Ventura 13.2.1.

It would be normal as the Operating System is indexing all the changes that have occurred when updating / upGrading.

It is suggested to keep the computer plugged into the charger for a day or so, including when in Sleep Mode. This will decrease the strain on the battery and allow the Re-Indexing process to complete more quickly.

Also, when the computer was put in Sleep Mode, how may applications were left Open.

This would include an Web Browser Tabs left Open and active during the Sleep Mode was occurring ?
