Final Cut Pro Colour Correction

I’ve recorded some videos on my iPhone, when I import them into FCPX and then place videos on the time line, FCPX automatically colour corrects my videos exaggerating all the colours in the video!!!

really annoying! How can I turn this feature off!!! I’ve looked at YouTube tutorials but nothing!!! What a waste of time! :(

How do I color correct long Betacam videos on Final Cut Pro? I am color and exposure correcting some old Betacam videos that are 30-50 minutes long. The clip in the time line is a single, long, clip that is 30 to 50 minutes long. I have been using key frames in the Color Board and Color Wheels tools to color-correct individual scenes in these long clips, and that has worked OK. However, I am wondering whether this is the best work flow, or would you cut up the clip at the points where things need to change and correct each individual clip? There are places within these clips where a dissolve takes place, and the color correction has to gradually change with the dissolve, so I have to do them with key frames on each end of the dissolve. imported videos from iPhone to MAC's Photos, but weird color appears with the videos Today I imported videos from my iPhone 13 to my new MACBook computer via its Photos app. But when I watch the videos in Photos, the color looks so weird on the video while it plays. (Still photos have OK color though). It was not like this with my old Mac Book computer. How to fix it? Thanks.

colour correction between different camera clips in multicam edits hi there, i have recordings of sony and cvc cameras to be edited in multicam edit in fcp. are there any suggestions, best practices or readymade effects that will be useful? sample clips can be provided. sony clips see to be colour corrected and jvc clips are blend. thanks in advance... p.s. how to insert clips in these posts? will retransfer do?

Did you shoot HDR? Is the project set to HDR? Is the library set to wide gamut? Do you want to output HDR?
