bluetooth headsets play music on iPhone 4?

do bluetooth headsets play mono music? I'm thinking about getting a plantronics discovery 975 but I can't find out anything on their site. Any help would be appreciated.

iMac 2.8, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

I bought the Samsung WEP870 for my iPhone 3g and it works great. It comes with a lanyard with earbuds if you want to listen in stereo - which is actually why I bought it - but if you just use the "normal" bluetooth earpiece, you can listen to music in mono. The price is great too - currently under $30 at amazon.
