PDF in Books shows white border

I regularly use Books as a place to store music for easy page turning. My tried and tested method has been to scan using Notes, then simply share to Books.

however, I have just invested in a 12.9in iPad Pro and this method puts an ugly white border around the PDF once it’s in Books (it doesn’t affect the scanned version in Notes. That’s perfect).

The reason I have gone for the bigger IPad Pro is to make sure my pages are as close to A4 as possible. It’s REALLY annoying to find the document comes up smaller on a bigger screen!

I reckon I could fix it by sharing from my phone instead, but would like to be able to do it all from within the iPad.
