Photos won't save in jpg on iphone ios

I have IOS 16.1.1 on an iPhone 10.


Even when I change the Camera settings to "Most Compatible", it still saves my photos as Heic. How can I get it stop that and save as jpeg?

We see that you are having some trouble saving photos as JPEG, and have already verified correct settings.


Next, try a restart and also make sure you have the latest iOS which can help.
