Loud Buzz
My up to date iphone ten will occasionally loudly buzz and just about jump out of my hand. I haven’t installed anything new - just the iphone system updates. Anyone have an idea what’s happening?

Hi Windsor985,
To clarify, this is a buzzing similar to the vibration you'd get in Vibrate mode? If you test taking a photo in both Ring and Silent mode, do you get the same result? We're wondering if this could be haptic feedback related to the shutter sound for your camera: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support
If it doesn't appear to be related to that, use this link to reach us directly to look into the issue further: Apple Support
Take care.
Hi Windsor985,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand there's an unexpected sound/buzz coming from your device. Does this continue after restarting your device? A restart is a simple step that can resolved a variety of issues. See how here:
1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2.
3. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
4. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.
See more about those steps here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
If this continues after restarting, let us know if this happens when using any specific app or performing a certain task. We'll go from there.
Thanks.
Thank you for your reply and suggestion. I restarted my phone, but as I was taking check photos, for a mobile deposit, it buzzed after each photo click. Up to now, it has pretty much just been random.
I use my phone much more often for taking pictures, than phone calling.
