If I erase all my content, will my phone still be used to make calls?

Yes. SIM is still inserted even when reset, so you can still make calls on it.

Thank you, I am setting up my new iPhone, I installed iTunes on my PC and uploaded all to it from my old iPhoneXR. Now I am trying to set up my new iPhone13 which has the sim in it. I just want to be sure that I don't have to start over because the new phone works now but the instructions say to erase all content.
