Replacing battery in AirTag

I received notification that my AirTag battery was low. I purchased the CR2032 Energizer battery. I followed the recommended instructions and I'm having a difficult time getting the cover back on the AirTag. With the battery in place, it chirps when I put the battery in and the cover on. I can't seem to fit the little tabs on the cover into the notches on the bottom part of the AirTag. It won't twist into place. Any help appreciated? As far as I know the Energizer does not have the bitter coating. I just can't get the cover twisted on. HELP?? thanks
