How to play the entire song in Garageband

As a total newbie, I created a short song in my ipad's Garageband to accompany my guitar-playing. The first bar is silent so that I hear the metronome before actual music starts to play. The song itself then has eight bars.

After finishing the seventh bar, Garageband forced me to add another section of bars. I now have section A with the silent bar followed by seven bars of music, and section B with one bar of music. The screenshot shows section A:

When I play the song, Garageband stops at the end of section A and loops back to the beginning. How can I make it play section B as well?

I also think that my naive approach at using GarageBand might not be as intended. Is there a better way to create a song that starts with a bar of silence then eight bars of music?
