Hey eyana177,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

The information below may help resolve your issue.

Check to see if the issue happens when connected to cellular data and also different Wi-Fi networks. This will help determine if the issue is network related.

If you haven't already, restart the iPhone by following the steps below or in this article: Restart your iPhone.

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

If restarting doesn't help, make sure there's enough iPhone storage available to download/open the images. You can check your iPhone storage by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. For more information about checking your iPhone storage and freeing up space, take a look at this link: How to check the storage on your iPhone and iPad.

Make sure your iPhone is up-to-date. The latest version is iOS 16.4. If it is not, follow the steps below to update.

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

If you have issues with updating, review the information here: Update your iPhone or iPad.

You can also update via a computer by following the steps here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes.

Hope this helps. Take care.

Take care.
