I have a Pages doc that was created from an Apple boilerplate. I simply want to add a first page to the doc. So far it won't allow and the creative specialist at Apple says he can't help. Can you?

Whew, playing with it for half an hour, got it to add a Page Break once of 100 tries!???
Could never repeat it:(
So I exported it from Pages as a .docx, then opened it in the free LibreOffice & could place a Page Break juast bout anywhere there was text, well maybe anywhere except in a graphic element.

Questions regarding Pages for macOS should be posted in the Pages for Mac Community where they may receive faster response than in the macOS High Sierra community (your profile says Ventura 13.2).
Doesn’t work. Such a simple task but the solution is almost impossible.
