Email Notification

My SE 3rd Gen phone not showing email notifications preview on the screen when locked. I check the mail notification and also personal setting notifications are all set up correctly like below.

Settings>Notifications>Mail... tap on your account then:

Alerts... flag what you want and set banners as "permanent".

Then, at the bottom, show preview = always.

Also, reset the phone as well.

Hello az259,

Please scroll down to "Change how notifications appear” in this article: Use notifications on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. Then go to Settings > Notifications on your iPhone.

Near the top of the Notifications, make sure that "List" is selected, and "Show Previews" is set to "Always".

Next, scroll down to Mail. Make sure "Immediate Delivery" is checked and not "Scheduled Summary". A bit lower, make sure that Lock Screen and Notification Center is checked. Banner is fine left either off or on.

Let us know if you’re getting your Mail notifications as expected now.

All the best.
