Macbook Pro and Mac studio shut down automatically after plugged in Sand Disk SSD extreme.

Please help, I don't know what to do next, all my personal files are inside that SSD 😭

I had hoped that using safe Mode, it would not be compelled to Mount that drive. It sounds like it tried to Mount that drive anyway, and it choked the same way as in regular mode.


Try the same experiment in Recovery, where there is no default to Mount ANY attached drives, not even the Boot drive:
