iPhone 14 Pro Max overheating

Hello community

iphone 14 pro max starts to heat fast even after using some normal apps such us google translate which I use because I’m learning a language so I have to keep the screen on for 15/20 minutes sometimes, during this period it heats a lot specially on the right side under the camera.

Anyone with the same issue, if so please write your comments here.

Thank you all

Hi Alsagher,

Thanks for following up. It's normal for your device to become warm while in use as covered below. This is from the resource titled If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold - Apple Support

"our device might get warm

You might notice that your device feels warmer when you:

  • Set up your device the first time
  • Restore from a backup
  • Wirelessly charge your device
  • Use graphics-intensive or processor-intensive apps, games, or features, including augmented-reality apps
  • Stream high-quality video

These conditions are normal, and your device will return to a regular temperature when the process is complete or when you finish your activity. If your device doesn't display a temperature warning, you can keep using your device."

To verify, are you seeing any temperature warnings? If not, that would indicate the temperature increase you're seeing is normal and shouldn't be anything to worry about. If you'd like to look into it further, you can always check into contacting Apple with this link: Apple Support

Best wishes.
