when i press play in airpod pros they play apple music not the show i'm watching

So often I will be watching YouTube or Netflix with my AirPod pros in and then I’ll click the button to pause it, it’ll still be on the screen for YouTube or Netflix but when I press the button to start playing again, it’ll just start blasting the Apple Music, it never used to do this before and I didn’t know who to ask. Also, the only reason I have a problem is because sometimes I’ll go to sleep watching a show or soothing sounds on YouTube and an earbud will fall out and sometimes it takes too long to register it’s in my ear so I’ll click the button then music will blast in my ear, very unpleasant. But it doesn’t only do it at night it’s every time I have them in, if anybody has a solution, please help me, thank you.

If your AirPods Pro aren't playing paused content as expected, the first thing we would recommend is to reset the AirPods. This refreshes the firmware and can resolve unexpected issues like this. These steps from How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro show how:

1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and close the lid.

2. Wait 30 seconds.

3. Open the lid of your charging case, and put your AirPods in your ears.

4. Go to Settings > Bluetooth. Or go to Settings > [your AirPods].

* If your AirPods appear there as connected, tap the More Info button next to your AirPods, tap Forget This Device, then tap again to confirm.

* If your AirPods don't appear there, continue to the next step.

5. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and keep the lid open.

6. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light on the front of the case flashes amber, then white.*

7. Reconnect your AirPods: With your AirPods in their charging case and the lid open, place your AirPods close to your iPhone or iPad. Follow the steps on your device's screen.
