Can I add an external hard drive to my icloud drive?

You can upload up to 2TB of most any type of content to iCloud Drive.


If you're asking about uploading the contents of an external drive, you'd need to do so manually, and so long as you have the top storage plan and have less than 2TB of data, you can upload all of that content to iCloud Drive if you'd like. Additionally, each file would need to be under 50GB in size.
