Universal Control No Longer Working Between Macs after update to Ventura 13.3

I have 2 Macs, a 16" M1 MAX MacBook Pro and a 13" M1 MacBook Pro that previously worked utilizing Universal Control to control both machines. After updating both to Ventura 13.3 today, Universal control no longer works.

I've attempted multiple settings toggles and restarts of both machines including completely disabling the universal controls settings + Handoff controls on both machines and restarting both.

I've confirmed all settings are set as outlined in support documentation.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.3

Did everything. Firewalls, toggling Bluetooth on and off, wifi, shutting down each system, firewalls, turning on and off handoff/airdrop etc nothing worked.

In the end, I signed out of iCloud on the machines, tuned off the computers and back on, then signed back in, turned on and off, then finally it worked.

It stopped working for me, too. I've tried the suggestions here: reboot machines, toggle WiFi Bluetooth Handoff iCloud Firewall etc on/off. Nothing works, alas.

This is what fixed it for me. firewall settings change did not, logout login did not, this did it thank you

APPLE PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AT YOUR TOPEST PRIORITY. WE ARE JUST SO TIRED OF SOMETIME WORKS SOMETIME DON'T SOLUTION. SUCH AS REBOOT ALL DEVICES AND SIGNOUT/SIGNIN ICLOUD.

Update!!!! I spoke too soon. As soon as I closed down and went back the next day it would not work. I am not going to try again, it is a waste of time and is very frustrating. This is a big fail for Apple developers and Apple over all.

Like I said, The days of "IT JUST WORKS" are over at Apple.
