How do I get updates to download automatically?

Hello;

My iPhone 14 Pro is set to update automatically but it never works. I still haver to check and download manually. How do I fix this?

Hello **** Heim, The only requirement for this to work is have your iPhone plugged in charging and connected to your Wi-Fi. If you've done that and in Settings under Automatic Updates you have "Download IOS Updates" ON and "Install IOS Updates" ON It should work. It has worked for me in the middle of the night, but it will do it when Apple Network traffic allows it to happen. New updates can take several weeks to Automatically update on iPhone. So if you're in a hurry best to do in manually.
