Suspicious Spam Activity Are Found
Dear all Mac users,
Few days ago, I have received a service request via my Fiverr account saying that he wanted me to create an user interface design for an app.
The person then provided me a link for me to download the app installer.
I checked whether it is safe via Google Safe Browsing Site Status. It is safe and trusted, so, I have downloaded.
I unzip it. Inside the folder, there had 2 files.
One is instructions to install while another is the installer.
I am not sure why but I thought it might be the suspicious malware.
(Usually I’m very rare will click to read instructions to install)
I decided to click to read the instructions manual.
It was so short and stated ‘just click on the installer, open it, key in your MacOS user password and done.
This is obviously the spam activity are found.
I am telling you that this might be the new strategy going to apply to attack all Mac users so please do something.
Thanks.
