Camera only works in portrait orientation when screen mirroring to Mac.

I want to use my MBA (M2, 2022) as a monitor for my iPhone (12 Mini) camera via Screen Mirroring.

However, the Macbook can only show a portrait orientation of the iPhone's screen. When I rotate the camera to a landscape orientation, the image on the Mac just goes sideways:

I watched this video which shows the user rotating the camera, causing the monitor view to rotate as well.

Is this a limitation of the iPhone 12 Mini? Or is there some setting I'm missing?

If you are using FaceTime then there should be an issue with iPhone 12 Mini.

What app are you using?

Hi SravanKrA, I'm using the Camera app + screen mirroring. I'm wanting to record a video of myself (YouTube style) using the superior rear camera on the iPhone, and use my Macbook as a monitor.
