"Sent" messages view options in Mac Mail.

I'm probably missing something obvious, but...

I'd like Sent messages in MacOS to appear as they do in iOS - where the recipient's name takes priority over mine, per the screenshots.

Cannot see a way to do it 🥲

Thanks.

Finally figured it out.

To avoid having the long "Inbox - iCloud" etc in my Favourites bar I made smart folders simply called "Inbox" etc.

Those, I dragged into the Favourites bar.

So, what happened was my Sent smart folder showed the sender instead of the recipient.

I've now dragged the actual Sent folder to the Favourites bar and, hey presto, it's now showing the recipients.

Phew!

Thanks Barney. But I'm confused...

Show MY name, not the recipient name, in macOS?

No, what you asked for it to do. Sent mailboxes should show the sender's name, not the recipient's.

I think there was an option in the past to alter the display, but I'm not sure, and I don't see any way, now.
