Can't cast a Netflix movie from my MacBook to my TV via HDMI cable

Dear Apple Community, recently it was no longer possible for me to cast movies from Netflix, Amazon Prime or YouTube from my MacBook Pro (Apple M1 Max, 16" from 2021) to my TV. With a normal Windows computer and with my old one MacBook Pro (15" from 2014), it works. I've read that Apple seems to have released an innovation that IOS 15.7 and later no longer allow this. My old MacBook hasn't done a software update for a long time, so it's probably still working with it. This is of course absolutely ... of Apple again. Does anyone know a solution how to continue casting movies?

AirPlay Mirroring lets you send what’s on your Mac to an HDTV wirelessly with Apple TV.

A Mac, an HDTV, and Apple TV set up for AirPlay mirroring.

  1. Make sure your Mac and Apple TV are on the same network.
  2. Click Control Center  in the menu bar, click the Screen Mirroring icon , then choose your Apple TV.
  3. If asked, enter a four-digit code on your Mac.
  4. To set whether your desktop mirrors or extends your Mac screen, click the Screen Mirroring icon , then choose Mirror Built-in Display or Use As Separate Display. "
