Is there a way to have a list of Text options to choose from in Pages?
I have a document that I use as a base template. In a spot of the document I need to insert or place a string of text that comes from a list of 12 different options. I do not want to have to type the text or open a different file and copy and paste the text, I want to know if there is a way that I simply click from the list and that text is what shows in the file so I can print it.
In word it looks like this:
Clarify what you mean by a list of Text options. Pages does not provide a word completion feature where you type part of a word and a list of potential candidates words (or synonyms) appears from which to select one.
Pages is not a Word clone and neither has a form design tool, nor can it open and preserve Word drop down lists when opening Word documents.
I know that Pages is not a clone of Word, that is why I was asking if there is a way of having a feature like that one I am asking about. So the answer is, it does not, right?
It does not have that Word feature.
